Triny has been involved with CAGE since 1999. Her background as a competitive gymnast and dancer instilled a love for the sport and the athletes making it an easy decision to move from a coaching position in Olathe to managing and then owning CAGE Gymnastics. Triny is particularly interested in the mental training aspect of coaching and enjoys the challenge of working through goal setting, facing fears and
confidence building with her athletes. Her favorite event to coach is balance beam followed closely by uneven bars. She lives south of Topeka and enjoys competitive trail and endurance riding with her 5 horses in her spare time
Chambrlyn has been at CAGE since the age of 7. She was a competitive gymnast for 6 years and then went on to coaching her own classes in 2007. Now Chammie has a little girl of her own and works full time coaching USAG Compulsory Levels 3-8 teams and in the office. Chambrlyn is certified in USA Gymnastics Safety & Risk Management, U100 Fundamentals in Gymnastics, CPR and First Aid, and Concussion in Youth Sports Training.
Nate has been at CAGE since 2010. He coaches the Xcel Bronze Competition Team as well as recreational classes ranging from toddlers on up. Nate has become a favorite with many students and is requested often. He has multiple certifications including: Safety Certification from USA Gymnastics, CPR & First Aid, U100 Gymnastics Fundamentals, Concussion in Youth Sports Training, Engaging Effectively with Parents, Creating a Safe and Respectful Environment, Sportsmanship and Sexual Abuse Prevention Training. Nate also enjoys being a horse farrier, running heavy equipment and working on projects in his shop at home. Nate proposed to Triny at the annual team banquet in 2013 and now they are enjoying married life together!
Katie began coaching at CAGE in 2012 with our recreational program. Katie now coaches our USAG Compulsory Level 3-8 Teams. She started her gymnastics career at age 3 and did competitive gymnastics for 7 years. Katie is certified in USA Gymnastics Safety & Risk Management, U100 Fundamentals in Gymnastics, Meet Director, CPR and First Aid, and Concussion in Youth Sports Training.
